Rachel Williams Dempsey is an author and attorney. With her mother, Joan C. Williams, she co-wrote What Works for Women at Work, which combines academic research on gender bias with practical strategies on how women can thrive in professional environments. She graduated from Yale Law School in 2015 and currently works as a civil rights and employment litigator, representing plaintiffs in cases involving issues including race and gender discrimination.
