Michael Headrick has been with PCL Construction for 23 years. He started as a project manager/engineer in 1997 after achieving his master’s degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Minnesota. Today, he leads PCL’s Minneapolis office whose biggest current project is the $235 million St. Paul International Airport Terminal-1 expansion, and encourages his staff to follow author Patrick Lencioni's guidance of being “humble, hungry and smart.” He is passionate about mentoring and teaching, spending seven years as an adjunct professor at his alma mater. Within PCL, he co-authored two publications for the company’s internal “College of Construction” professional development program.
