How 2020 + 2021 Have Changed How We Practice and Do Business

Melissa Salsano is senior counsel and an engineer who practices in the commercial litigation practice in Peckar & Abramson’s New York office. Her primary areas of focus include complex commercial litigation and construction law on behalf of contractors on public and private projects, including delay and extra work disputes, engineer and architect liability suits, contract development and negotiations, and business counseling during project pursuit and performance.

Melissa is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey. She received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 2014, where she served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor of a law journal. She graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a BS in civil engineering in 2011, and has received the designation from the National Counsel of Examiners for Engineers and Surveying as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.).

Following law school, before joining P&A, Melissa served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Yolanda Ciccone, A.J.S.C., New Jersey Superior Court in Somerville, and gained an understanding of the court system that helps guide her work.
