In her current role, she ensures that today’s girls have the opportunities, resources and support to redefine what they believe is possible. Since stepping into her leadership post, Marisa has been a force for transformation, engaging the Twin Cities corporate and philanthropic communities to elevate the message that Girl Scouts is about far more than cookies, camps and crafts—it is about shaping the future of leadership. Her impact has been recognized across Minnesota, earning her a spot as one of the Twin Cities Business Top 100 People to Know in 2025 and as a Top BIPOC Leader of 2024. Marisa is dedicated to ensuring that investing in girls is not just seen as important—it’s understood as urgent. A self-described non-traditional Girl Scout, she is nor afraid to challenge convention, embrace failure as a tool for growth and pursue bold, unconventional paths to success. Marisa brings a deep commitment to equity, ensuring that historically marginalized voices are included in leadership conversations, from the Girl Scouts she serves to the teams she leads.

Marisa previously served as CEO of HEARTH Pittsburgh, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering families experiencing homelessness. She has also held board positions with Imani Christian Academy and the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. An alumna of the University of Pittsburgh, she also holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
