LaToya Thompson grew up on the South Side of Chicago during the 80s when the economy kept poor black families segregated in their own neighborhoods. Her parents valued education, and moved the family to Minneapolis when she was 12. LaToya thrived as a student and was accepted into Smith College with a full scholarship. LaToya has been in sales management since 2002 and attributes her success to building the right relationships and breaking down unseen barriers in industries where she is one of few women on the team.
