Veteran Wall Street research analyst Jamie Cook joined Truist Securities in quarter one 2024 as a managing director, expanding its equity research coverage in the industrials sector, including construction, infrastructure and machinery. The firm, the investment banking unit of Truist Financial Corp., noted her “sterling reputation for generating high-quality research” in a sector seen as critical as it “navigates massive infrastructure investments associated with energy transition and modernization along with onshore manufacturing,” and as automation, AI and machine learning “are transforming the sector's business models."

Cook is a 20 year research veteran of investment bank Credit Suisse, leading its construction, equipment and industrial services subsectors coverage as sector head for the U.S. Capital Goods Research team. Truist Financial investment history extends back more than 125 years. Jamie has been ranked in two categories of Institutional Investor’s All-America Research team including Engineering & Construction sector (ranked #1) and Machinery (ranked as Runner Up). She has been honored consistently by the Financial Times and StarMine for research in both sectors and is a frequent presenter to corporate boards, senior management teams and industry groups.
