Amaka has been in the heavy movable bridge industry for 13 years as a senior mechanical engineer and managing director. She is a team leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Starting out as a quiet immigrant kid and young lady, she learned how to find her voice and her own unique leadership style which has helped her grow in her career and personal life. She is the winner of the Brickell Magazine Top 20 Under 40 award and the Emerging Philanthropist Award from the Miami Foundation. She is also the founder of the STEM Non-Profit for girls called Tech Girl Power.
