Sandra brings her leading domain expertise, extensive thought leadership, and an industry recognizable brand to Procore, which further solidifies our reputation as a progressive force in construction. Prior to Procore, Sandra led Worldwide Head of Engineering, Construction and Real Estate at Amazon Web Services, where she received a presidential appointment to serve as a Board Member for the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS). Sandra and the NIBS board are focused on reinforcing and amplifying the important work to be done in construction, and are most importantly tasked with providing an annual report of status and recommendations to The President of the United States on industry updates and improvements.
Sandra has spent the majority of her storied career in the construction and building technology industry all over the globe, working with companies like E&C, EPC, and Real Estate. Some of her prior executive leadership roles beyond the 2 year tenure at Amazon Web Services include 2 years as CIO/VP at Kentz/SNC-Lavalin, 7 years as the Global Industry Director of E&C at J.D. Edwards/Oracle, and a year-long stint at Hexagon PPM as Construction WW GTM lead.
In addition to her board position with NIBS, Sandra is also serving as a member of the Board of Advisors for ViaTechnik, is a staunch advocate for women’s leadership, and has been a featured speaker and author at innumerable industry events throughout her career. Amongst her many accolades, Sandra was honored as the ConstrucTech Woman of the Year in 2014 and now serves as a judge for this award!
