During his 15+ years in the industry, Mani Golparvar-Fard has designed and built commercial buildings, infrastructure systems and port facilities in the U.S. and abroad. Golparvar-Fard’s research has contributed to developing computer vision and BIM solutions to help project teams better plan, coordinate, and communicate on jobsites. He now is leveraging his exposure to the most creative people in the construction, technology, and academic worlds to improve the productivity of the industry as a whole. His newly launched company, Reconstruct, offers a SaaS service that leverages BIM, scheduling, and reality modeling to visually track progress, analyze productivity and anticipate potential delays to help construction companies deliver projects on time and on budget.
