After serving four years in the U.S.A.F. as Loadmaster on a C-5 Galaxy cargo plane During Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, Lee went on to receive his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology form Purdue University. Using his engineering knowledge & interest in innovation he moved into renewable energy and worked at a Solar PV start up. Once an interest in building systems crept in, Lee worked as a consultant learning new skills and teaching others about the newest software for building designs. From there Lee has held several positions from VDC Manager to Director of QAQC. It was his underlying passion for finding a better & more efficient, but sometimes previously untested, way of doing things that lead to his current role of East Coast Innovation Leader with DPR. In this role Lee supports individuals practicing their own innovative efforts in 13 Business Units on the East Coast.
