EPA – Clean Air Act (NESHAP) Exposure

The Environmental Protection Agency enforces the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) under the Clean Air Act. Contractors performing demolition or renovation must comply with asbestos work-practice standards, notifications and waste-handling procedures.
