HOUSTON (March 26, 2018) – The Design-Build Institute of America Southwest Region (DBIA-SW) is hosting its 14th Annual Conference on April 26-27, 2018, at The Whitehall Hotel in Houston. This year’s conference, titled “Design-Build: Growth, Challenge, Opportunity,” is expected to be its largest to-date, since Design-Build construction now accounts for approximately 40% of all non-residential construction.
All DBIA-SW members, affiliated industry professionals, public and private project owners, interested students, and professionals wanting to learn more about Design-Build are invited to join their friends and colleagues for this unique opportunity to network, learn about some of the nation’s most complex Design-Build projects, and hear the latest news, industry forecasts, best practices, and trends from top Design-Build industry experts. Conference attendees will also earn up to 9.75 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) of DBIA Designation credit.
Barbara Jackson, Ph.D., director of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, will serve as the conference’s keynote speaker presenting a program titled, "Culture is King in Design-Build Effectiveness.”
