Construction Economics Archive
Each week, ENR publishes three pages of construction economics data, in PDF format. Building material prices in 20 major U.S. cities, labor cost data, various cost indexes and construction-put-in-place data and construction starts data are offered in a regular sequence.
The first weekly issue each month contains cement, concrete, asphalt and aggregate prices; week two has pipe prices; week three features lumber and drywall prices; and week four includes steel product prices, such as rebar and I-beams. The table containing cost indexes for individual cities is always published in week two. Commerce Dept. construction put-in-place figures appear in week three, and Dodge construction starts figures appear in week four.
