How 3D Construction Printing Forces the Digitization of the Industry

3D Construction Printing — additive manufacturing driven by 3D designs — forces the early digital resolution of many constructability issues that might otherwise go unaddressed until much later, if ever. Designing and engineering with additive manufacturing in mind also begs comparisons with conventional approaches to design and execution that opens up ways of looking at processes through a new lens. Digitizing the “how” of construction elements production by 3D additive manufacturing can suggest broader design optimizations that may have positive impacts across the board.  Our speaker will explain.
