ENR Mountain States Announces 2019 Top Young Professionals

Gateway Center Lockheed Martin

2019 Top Young Professionals winner and Hensel Phelps Operations Manager David Brooke has guided the design-build Gateway Center building for Lockheed Martin and Davis Partnership Architects through a confidential and lengthy preconstruction process. The 266,000-sq-ft building will house assembly and testing processes to develop military and commercial-use satellites. It is the first new building to be built on Lockheed’s Waterton Canyon campus in Colorado since 2009, and at $225 million in construction costs, the largest capital project in Lockheed Martin Space’s history.
