The preliminary results from our annual survey of the 2014 Top Specialty Contractors across the Mountain States region are in and we wanted to share the names of some of the top firms, based on 2013 fiscal-year revenues, in non-ranked order.
The top 20 specialty firms across the region for this year include:
Legacy Mechanical, Weifield Group Contracting, GSL Electric, LPR Construction, Comfort Systems USA, MasTec Inc., EMCOR Group Inc., Greiner Electric, Cache Valley Electric Co., Sturgeon Electric, Sure Steel Inc., RK Mechanical, U.S. Engineering Co., Taylor Electric Co., Murphy Co., SME Steel Contractors Inc., CCI Mechanical, Wheeler Electric, Douglass Colony Group and Fiore & Sons Inc.
This year’s top list reflects an even broader diversity of specialty work than in years past, with electrical firms, steel erectors, HVAC experts and roofing and curtain wall specialists sharing the spotlight.
As always, the full list of rankings, which appear in the December issue of ENR Mountain States, are based on self-reported 2013 revenues from firms who filled out an online survey. If your firm would like to participate and possibly be ranked in the future, please email me and we’ll get you on our list for next year.
The December issue of Mountain States will also highlight our Specialty Contractor of the Year, and that firm will be announced soon.
