As many of you are already surely aware, it's about that time again. Time for Southeast Construction's publication of its annual Top Contractors ranking. Our annual ranking will be posted online in its complete format--along with numerous breakout charts--later this month. And the print issue containing the Top Contractors ranking will publish May 1. However, as we've done for the last couple of years, we're providing an abbreviated "preview" of the ranking here.
Our annual list ranks general contractors and construction managers based upon their construction revenue during the preceding calendar year from projects located in the four-state region of Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. (The current ranking of Florida's top contractors can be found here.)
Revenue reported on this year’s ranking is based on calendar-year 2009, unless otherwise noted. An asterisk designates a firm was unable to provide accurate calendar-year data and submitted their fiscal 2009 information instead.
Again, you'll be able to see the full list when the print magazine publishes on May 1, and the entire ranking will be available online later this month.
