The ENR Southwest Top Starts list for 2014 has been public for less than a week, and as was the case with the 2013 Top Starts, things are picking up. Coming in at roughly $5 billion, the 2014 Top Starts exceeded the 2012 Top Starts by about $1.3 billion.

So what does that have to do with our 2015 of Top Design Firms? Well, all of those projects on the Top Starts list have to be designed by someone, right?

In addition to just the “big jobs,” are the multitude of “small jobs” that design firms across the Southwest are engaged. And according to our preliminary list, design firms had a busy 2014.

All of the details on the Top Design Firms will be unveiled in the Top Design Firms list to debut in the May 11 print edition of ENR Southwest.

This list will list by 2013 revenue and in a handful of categories, the biggest and best design firms in the Southwest.

For now, however, we present the firms who participated in this year’s survey in alphabetical order.
