ENR Southwest announced its 2014 Regional Best Projects award winners in late September. But we also have a separate contest among those entries: the Safety Award. The winner of this award as well as the project that received the merit award have been determined and we are pleased to announce them in this blog.

This year, we had three judges reviewing more than 40 submissions. The judges were impressed with the scope of safety plans in the current market that have helped more laborers go home safely.

Here are this year’s safety winners for Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, the collective coverage area of ENR Southwest:

The Safety Awards will be presented along with the other Best Projects winners at our annual awards ceremonies on Nov. 14. The Project of the Year will also be unveiled at the event.
