The deadline for submissions to both the ENR Southwest’s Best Projects and Top Subcontractors survey is Monday, July 14 at 11:59 MST.

The Top Subcontractor surveys act as a guide for our yearly rankings of the top firms by revenue and a slew of market sectors in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.

The coveted best projects list will highlight the most innovative and unique construction projects in the region that were completed between mid 2013 and mid 2014. The categories of the projects run the gamut: private office buildings, hospitals, higher education, public works projects and many more.

An impartial panel of experts in the construction and contracting field will judge the projects. The criteria each structure will be judged upon is basis of teamwork, quality, safety, workmanship, and community impact. The 20 winning projects will be featured in ENR Southwest’s Nov. 10 regional edition, and one will be highlighted as project of the year and get covered more thoroughly in the issue.

Also all of the regional winners will be considered for ENR’s national Best of the Best projects award. Participants need only enter once.

The Specialty Contractor survey will help our editors put into order the most profitable subcontracting firms in the Southwest between mid 2013 and mid 2014. However monetary gain will not be the only criteria for the list, subcontractors will also be judged on efficiency, and quality of work.

The list will run in ENR Southwest's print edition on Sept. 22. The list represents more than just a yearly award. It also provides an overview of the entire industry in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, and will also give all the selections a upper hand in the selection of this 2014’s subcontractor of the year.
