Are you an AGC member, and did you complete a project in New Mexico in the past year that you'd like to see recognized? Don't miss the Dec. 30 deadline for entering the Best Buildings 2012 competition.

The AGC - NM Building Branch has been conducting their successful awards program for 23 years now. Focusing on commercial construction projects, the Best Buildiings nominees are judged on the complexity of the construction process. This means that regardless of how big or small your project is, Best Buildings aims to honor the challenges your team faced in terms of the project's budget, site constraints, schedule and delivery method.

Last year's winners include many projects that readers of ENR Southwest should be familiar with, including New Mexico Scientific Laboratories, UNM Science & Math Learning Center and Silver Gardens Apartments.

Submit your entry here or contact Kelly at the AGC offices at 505/842-1462 or reception@agc-nm.org.

The AGC held a webinar last month to assist potential submitters with how to prepare a compelling entry. I would recommend this webinar if you are considering entering the AGC-NM Best Buildings awards, or even if you just want to improve your entries for similar competitions. There are tips and advice that could aid in preparing a successful ENR Southwest awards entry too.
