There, you'll see these firms ranked by revenue, include rankings of these firms by state and sector. ENR Texas & Louisiana has named Ferrovial US Construction Corp. its 2014 Contractor of the Year, recognizing the firm’s outstanding growth in Texas, its project portfolio and its dedication to local communities.
ENR Texas & Louisiana will feature its annual regional ranking of top contractors in the upcoming August 2014 print edition. This year, more than 125 firms responded, reporting combined regional revenue just shy of $32 billion.
Burns & McDonnell had quite a year in Texas and Louisiana in 2013. This full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting solutions firm saw its 2013 regional revenue jump nearly four-fold over the previous year – the largest increase on this year’s ranking. For its incredible performance and industry leadership, ENR Texas & Louisiana has named Burns & McDonnell its 2014 Design Firm of the Year.
ENR Texas & Louisiana's annual list of Top Design Firms will be featured in our June 9 issue, ranking the region's architectural and engineering firms by revenue. We'll include rankings of these firms by sector as well as some analysis of how the market is faring. In the meantime, here's a sneak peak at the top 130 firms that responded to this year's survey, representing a combined total annual revenue of more than $4 billion. These companies are shown below in alphabetical order.
The Texas Dept. of Transportation (TxDOT) has been selected as ENR Texas & Louisiana’s 2014 Owner of the Year. An in-depth article discussing the agency’s accomplishments, innovations and major work will be featured in the April 14 print edition. Every year, the ENR regional sections select an owner to spotlight based on several criteria: the number and size of current projects under way and in development; sustainability goals; diversity; innovation; and reputation in the industry.
In the April 14 print edition, ENR Texas & Louisiana will list the top 25 largest projects by total value that broke ground across the region in 2013. More than $15 billion in work is included in this year's top starts list, with work spanning across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. That’s a full billion dollars more in projects in the region compared to last year.
