ENR New York is excited to announce this year’s group of regional Best Project winners. This year’s judges have awarded 29 projects in 16 main categories.
In addition to the 2024 main category winners found in the list below, the Best Projects safety and sustainability awardees, which are juried by a separate group of safety and sustainability experts, will be announced in the ENR New York free e-newsletter. Finalists for this year’s ENR New York Project of the Year will also be announced soon.

Judges’ selection for this year’s overall Project of the Year from the Best Project-level winners listed below will be announced in the November issue of ENR New York and at the ENR New York Best Projects awards event on Nov. 12.

This year’s winning projects in the main categories—listed at the bottom of this post—will also be profiled in depth in the November print issue of ENR New York. Projects were all located in New York and New Jersey.
Projects were evaluated on the ability of the project team to overcome challenges, safety, construction/design quality, and contribution to the industry and the community. Due to the large number of entries, we can only cite a fraction of projects submitted each year, so projects that did not win this year can be submitted next year if they are still eligible!
This year’s New York judges for the main categories were Mara Johnston, managing principal at Keystone Global and Schillivia Baptiste, president and chief executive of Leland Baptiste.
Judges could select any combination of Best Project-level and Award of Merit category winners. In some categories, judges decided not to give an award for the category.
