This year's list of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut subcontractors reveals some interesting findings. For starters, a broad spectrum of industry firms participated in the survey this year including electricians, welders and environmental remediators. Also, of the 43 firms that participated, more than one-fourth are newcomers to the survey.
While the highest reported 2013 regional revenue came in at about $762 million compared with $822 million in 2012, some 13 firms generated revenue in excess of $90 million. Last year only the top-10 firms hit or rose above the $90-million mark.
Below is a quick look at the firms that participated in this year’s survey, listed in alphabetical order. A more detailed list with firms ranked by their regional revenue and specializations will be featured in ENR New York’s September 22/29 issue. That issue will also include the region’s Specialty Contractor of the year.
