To show that pictures are worth thousands of words, here is a taste, in photos, of the delivery of the pieces of the 408-ft-tall steel spire that will turn One World Trade Center into the nation's tallest building. Word on the street is that the spire installation will be finished by February. At that point, the single replacement supertower for the twin towers destroyed by terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001, will stand 1,776 ft tall.
