ENR is pleased to announced that CannonDesign is ENR California’s Design Firm of the Year!

Each year, ENR editors evaluate design firms’ revenue growth, innovation, and community commitment, and vote for a Design Firm of the Year from each region.

Last year, CannonDesign’s revenue jumped 18 percent year-over-year to $37.8 million thanks to major health care project starts in California, including the $110 million Oroville Hospital Tower Addition. At the same time, CannonDesign, with offices in Irvine, Calif., Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco, is already rethinking health-care design and construction to address social distancing and contagion of the COVID-19 pandemic.

CannonDesign says it is looking forward to its work on the Los Angeles County Restorative Care Village, an integrated campus that will provide housing and medical care to the city’s substantial homeless population – estimated to be 60,000 people. The firm hopes the modular design, which leverages prefabricated materials, will be easily replicated in other areas with large at-risk populations.
