The June edition of ENR California will feature the top-ranked design firms based on 2014 revenue. It was a stand-out year for most design firms, with nine of the top 10 ranked firms seeing large revenue increases.
One of those firms experiencing exceptional growth, Gensler, has been selected as ENR California’s 2015 Design Firm of the Year. But it isn’t just revenue growth that spurred the award. Gensler’s current slate of projects demonstrates a deep commitment to innovation, collaboration and sustainability. From the $1-billion Metropolis mixed-use development currently under construction in downtown Los Angeles to the $250-million San Francisco International Airport Terminal 3 East project, Gensler is reshaping the built landscape throughout the state. Other projects include the collaborative design-build $961-million LAX Midfield Satellite Concourse project, Nvidia’s futuristic headquarters in Santa Clara, the LEED-Gold-targeting 222 Second Street office tower in San Francisco and the recently announced $500-million expansion to L.A. Live and J.W. Marriott.
