ENR California has named its 2013 Specialty Contractor of the Year. The winner is: ACCO Engineered Systems of Glendale. 

The employee-owned mechanical and plumbing contractor was founded in 1934 and has office locations throughout California and the West Coast. The company performed over $600 million in revenue in 2012, a 40% jump over the previous year, through innovative projects such as the $1.5-billion UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, where the project team has implemented integrated project delivery to keep the project ahead of schedule and under budget. The firm is also working on the new 49ers’ stadium in Santa Clara.
