A panel of safety experts has chosen the winners of ENR MidAtlantics Excellence in Safety award, part of the Best Projects 2016 competition that will be profiled in more depth in the October issue of ENR MidAtlantic, and presented at an awards banquets on Nov. 1 in Baltimore.

The competition was heated among the 35 entries in this year’s safety award division. The winners are:

Excellence in Safety Best Project

Brunswick County Power Station, located in Freeman, Va. Submitted by Fluor. 

Excellence in Safety Award of Merit

VITA Tysons Corner, located in McLean, Va. Submitted by Donohoe Construction Co.

Be sure to mark your calendars to meet and congratulate all of the winning project teams at our Best Projects awards banquet. The safety winners will be honored along with other MidAtlantic projects at an awards lunch on Nov. 1 at the Sheraton Inner Harbor in Baltimore.
