Hill International, Marlton, N.J., said on Dec. 27 that it has received a project management contract for a planned $600-million theme-park complex in South Vietnam. The $16.9-million contract was awarded by the project’s Ho Chi Minh City-based developer, Phu An Investment Construction and Infrastructure Development JSC, according to Hill. The project, called Happyland Theme Park and KT Entertainment City, is planned for two phases covering a total of 1,620 acres in Long An province. Now in its conceptual planning stage, the project is set for completion in 2014, said Raouf S. Ghali, president of Hill’s international project management group.
