Turner Construction Co. has elevated Mark Breslin to CEO of Sahara Turner—the contractor's new partnership with Indian developer Sahara Prime City Ltd. and Acropolis Capital Group, a financial investment firm—to oversee an estimated $2.5 billionin construction in India over the next five years. He had been vice president and general manager of Turner's New York North region. Breslin, who joined the firm as a superintendent in 1995, will be based in Mumbai. Turner promoted Rich Homan to executive vice president. Formerly senior vice president, he now adds supervision of the firm's multistate Southeast region to his duties. Homan has led Turner's Ohio, mid-Atlantic and federal-services groups.
KBR Inc., Houston, has announced several executive changes. David Zimmerman has been named group president of its Australia-Asia region, effective on July 9. He had been president of its services group, which includes industrial services, U.S. construction, Canada operations, the building group, international O&M operations and international construction operations. A 36-year KBR veteran, Zimmerman also served, from 1994 to 1999, as managing director of Asia engineering and construction operations. Set to replace him is Ivor Harrington, formerly executive vice president and group CEO for global infrastructure at Harsco Corp. KBR also has elevated Farhan Mujib to executive vice president of operations. Formerly KBR's senior vice president for gas monetization-projects and managing director of its Singapore operations, he succeeds John Rose, who retires on July 9. Mujib will be based in the U.K.
