New York City building inspectors issued a partial stop work order at a 41-story residential condominium project after a tower crane leaked diesel fuel on Dec. 27. There were no injuries.
A fuel line leak on the crane allowed “diesel fuel to cascade down [approximately] 300 ft onto the public sidewalk,” according to the NYC Dept. of Buildings (DOB) complaint on the incident at 36 W. 66th Street on Manhattan's Upper West Side.
