Pate Properties plans to redevelop the 38.6-acre McFarland Mall in Tuscaloosa. The project entails leveling the site, except for the former Cheddars Scratch Kitchen building, and constructing an open-air mall blending a mix of anchor retail along with complementary small shops, as well as inline fast-casual and full-service restaurants.
