Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte on April 27 presided over the inauguration of the country's longest cable-stayed bridge, the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway.
Designed to withstand high winds, the 650-meter-long crossing with a 390-m main span, came out undamaged after facing 150-mph gusts last December. The bridge crosses the Mactan Channel, linking Cebu City and Cordova, Cebu.
