Perkins Eastman has elevated Barbara Mullenex to its executive committee. A managing principal in Washington, D.C., Mullenex was the ENR MidAtlantic Legacy Award winner in 2020. She has led the design and management of several high-profile projects for clients such as Marriott, Global Holdings and the World Bank.
The firm also announced that Matthew Bell, a principal in the D.C. office, is a new fellow with the Congress for New Urbanism. The class of fellows is an honor roll that recognizes those who have advocated for urbanism in their local communities and across the world. Bell specializes in large-scale architecture and urban design. He is also a fellow with the American Institute of Architects.
