Brad Crotts Principal DLR Group
There’s no shortage of optimism in Charlotte about future construction. “The skyline is scattered with cranes in all four wards of uptown Charlotte,” says Crotts. For 2020, Crotts says, “Forecasts for construction activity in the Queen City as well as the region, including upstate South Carolina, do not show signs of a substantial slowdown” thanks to a “strong backlog” of both private- and public-sector projects. “Optimism is high that 2020 will continue to provide the industry with the opportunity to hire qualified professionals to tackle the demand.”
