The Judicial Council of California is planning to build a new Stanislaus County Superior Courthouse in Modesto. The eight-story, 308,964-sq-ft building will contain 27 courtrooms as well as 32 secure parking spaces at the basement level and 100 surface parking spaces. It has been designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, and McCarthy Building Cos. has been chosen as the general contractor. The project is valued at $279 million.
