Honolulu police are searching for more than $100,000 worth of equipment stolen from the site of the new Mauka terminal at the city’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
According to a police statement, thieves entered the 40-acre site’s enclosed perimeter at approximately 11 pm on Friday, Dec. 20, and made off with the equipment over the weekend. Among the property reported stolen are a 2019 Kawasaki Mule 4010 4x4 vehicle, two Lincoln Electric Ranger welders and accessories, concrete hammers and chippers, multiple generators and hand tools and laser level devices.
