Hawaii Koloa Rum Company is planning to expand its rum distillery in Koloa, on Kauai. The project scope includes construction of a 45,000-sq-ft building, and purchase and installation of stainless steel piping and fermentation tanks and distilling and blending equipment. The expansion will double the distillery’s capacity to produce single-batch rum and ready-to-drink cocktails. Construction is expected to begin in early 2020. Texas Energy Transfer LP is planning to construct a crude oil pipeline, the Ted Collins Pipeline, and pump stations from its Houston terminal to its existing and proposed export terminals in Nederland. The project scope includes construction of equipment foundations; purchase of 75 miles of pipe; clearing, grading, trenching, pipe stringing, welding, coating, backfilling, testing and restoration; and purchase and installation of centrifugal pumps and flow control systems. The pipeline will have a throughput capacity of 500,000 barrels of oil per day. Construction is expected to begin in 2020 or early 2021. The estimated EPC cost is $250 million.
