MidAtlantic People: Construction business updates for August 2019
Kathleen Linehan was named president of Alpha Corp., a woman-owned engineering and construction consulting firm headquartered in Dulles, Va. Linehan, who had been a vice president at Jacobs Engineering Group, has held a mix of engineering and construction management positions in her career. She has led several projects in Washington, D.C., including serving as project manager for the South Capitol Street Bridge and 11th Street Bridge project; project adviser for St. Elizabeths Hospital East Campus; and principal in charge of the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative. She also has worked on various Federal Highway Administration and D.C. Dept. of Transportation projects. Linehan is also on the executive committee of the Federal City Council—a Washington, D.C., civic group—and on the board of directors for the Anacostia Watershed Society.
