Impartial, third-party cost data can provide verification on project costs as well as ensure things are not missed such as a piece of equipment needed for installation or adequate labor hours to install. And if something goes wrong (which is bound to happen on a construction site), relaying the bad news sooner rather than later can save multiple headaches down the line.
