ALABAMA The Alabama Dept. of Transportation is planning to widen Interstate 59 in Tuscaloosa County. The project entails adding more lanes to I-59 from south of the County Road 1900 (Black Warrior Parkway) interchange to State Route 6/U.S. Route 82 (McFarland Boulevard). COLORADO The City and County of Denver are planning to build the National Western Center Equestrian Center at 4655 Humboldt St. The 526,440-sq-ft complex will include 486,600 sq ft of enclosed equestrian facilities and 39,840 sq ft of covered open-air facilities. It will include a 4,500-seat equestrian events center, a 500-seat equestrian show arena, a 220,000-sq-ft horse barn, two enclosed paddocks (56,000 sq ft), and two covered, open-air practice areas (39,840 sq ft) It will also include a 325,000-sq-ft subgrade (walkout type) parking garage with 1,050 parking spaces.
