Denver Water Tops Out Its New Headquarters Complex
Denver Water topped out its new administration building in November, part of the public agency’s modernization of its 36-acre complex. The project features a 190,000-sq-ft administration building as well as a large operations site that links seven other new facilities, including warehouse and fleet buildings completed in 2017.
The project team, led by Stantec and Mortenson, anticipates placing solar panels atop the new parking structure, which also will have electric-vehicle charging stations. The site includes a wellness building and a renovated conference and training center adapted from a 132-year-old stone pumping station.
