California People: Updates About Construction Professionals for December 2018
Ashur Yoseph has been named a senior vice president in WSP USA’s San Francisco office. Yoseph has more than three decades of experience and will be responsible for business development in support of WSP’s property and buildings, and transportation and infrastructure businesses. He served most recently as infrastructure development manager in San Francisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development. Yoseph received a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering technology from Sacramento State University.
Ann Poppen has joined McCarthy Building Cos. as project director for the firm’s Northern Pacific region. She has more than 26 years of experience in design, planning, preconstruction design phase services and project execution. Poppen joins McCarthy’s Sacramento unit in its Roseville office and is working on the planning of Stanislaus County’s new Modesto courthouse, with construction set to begin in early 2020. Prior to joining McCarthy, Poppen was a vice president with Sundt Construction Inc. She earned her bachelor’s of science degree in construction engineering and management from Purdue University.
