A group of kids helped Adolfson & Peterson Construction cut the ribbon on the addition and renovation of Hudson Elementary School in Hudson, Colo., in August. The addition is a two-story, 37,801-sq-ft structural-steel and masonry building with new classrooms, a media center, STEM lab, music room, art room and administrative offices.
Renovations to 13,041 sq ft of the school included a new roof, new flooring and life-safety upgrades. Sitework included playground pits, landscaping and sidewalks. Crews worked in an active and occupied elementary school.
