James ZhengChicago-based Goettsch Partners recently promoted the firm’s president, James Zheng,to the additional title of co-CEO. James Goettsch, formerly the singular CEO in his eponymous firm, is the other co-CEO. Goettsch remains chairman and design director. Goettsch and Zheng have worked together for more than 20 years, sharing management of the firm since 2013. The Goettsch Partners board named Zheng co-CEO in recognition of his expanding responsibilities and achievements over the last five years. Goettsch has no plans to retire.

Samuel LuckinoAlso at Goettsch Partners, Samuel Luckino has joined the firm as a principal and senior project manager. Luckino will lead project teams with a focus on office, hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects. He has 16 years of professional experience and spent the last 13 years at Arquitectonica, most recently as director of the New York office.
 


Mark FuhrmannMark Fuhrmann has joined HDR’s transit practice as a senior project manager based in Minneapolis. He will focus on growing HDR’s transit consulting practice. Fuhrmann was with Minneapolis’ Metropolitan Council for 25 years in various capacities and most recently served as the deputy general manager of Minneapolis’ Metro Transit.


LeeAnn Tomas-FosterArcadis has appointed LeeAnn Tomas-Foster as its city executive for Chicago. In her new role, Tomas-Foster will lead the company’s Chicago big urban client program. Tomas-Foster has more than 25 years of experience in Chicago’s public sector. She led environmental programs for the Public Building Commission and the Chicago Park District.


Yvonne BilshausenYvonne Bilshausen has joined HNTB Corp. as aviation architecture principal and vice president specializing in growing the firm’s Chicago-based aviation practice. Bilshausen brings with her more than two decades of airport consulting experience.
 


Max DodgeMax Dodge has joined Burns & McDonnell’s Kansas City, Mo., office as a business development manager in the business and technology solutions group.

 


Maggie CurcioMaggie Curcio has joined Henderson Engineers of Lenexa, Kan., as the firm’s first chief people officer. Curcio brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to the company, most recently serving as vice president of human resources and organization development for DST Systems.


James DillmanJames Dillman recently joined Ozinga in Chicago as vice president and general manager of the cement and construction material supplier’s middle river marine and terminal business. Dillman has more than 25 years of experience in the marine industry, including an extensive background in terminal and port management throughout the Great Lakes, Gulf, East and West coasts as well as international ports. Dillman is the former CEO of Diversified Port Holdings, COO of Lake and River Logistics and president of Metro Ports. Ozinga currently has nine terminal and port operations. Dillman began his marine industry career after retiring as a commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
