Midwest City Scoop: Construction Starts in Louisville
Russell Dalton BIM Director - Americas AECOM
“We just landed a bridge inspection program, it’s a joint venture through the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet with 1,022 bridge inspections,” Dalton says. “It’s a six-year contract out of this office in Louisville, and we are inspecting all of them. Obviously a lot of money is being spent on infrastructure improvements here and a big part of that is bridges. Kentucky has more rivers than any state in the union so, naturally, it has a lot more bridges. Kentucky owns the Ohio River on its side, and all the bridges going across it are being inspected as well.”
