Florida Florida Land Management Inc. is planning to build the Parrish Lakes residential development on a 1,150-acre site at the intersection of Moccasin Wallow and Erie Roads in Parrish. The development will include 3,300 residential units, 400,000 sq ft of retail space and 50,000 sq ft of office space. It will be constructed in two phases. Phase one, due for completion in 2026, will create 900 single-family residential units, 600 multifamily units and 250,000 sq ft of commercial or retail space. Planned for phase two, due for completion in 2036, are 1,300 single-family residential units, 500 multifamily residential units, 150,000 sq ft of retail space and 50,000 sq ft of office space. Minnesota Dominium Development & Acquisition Inc. is planning to convert the barracks at Fort Snelling’s Upper Post into 176 units of affordable housing. The 26 buildings were erected between the 1880s and 1939. Fort Snelling was a U.S. Army post from 1819 to 1946 and was then transferred to the Veterans Administration.
