Richard L. “Dick” Haury Sr., 85, a former senior vice president for airports at URS Corp. who helped develop major airport programs throughout the globe, died May 4 in Orlando, Fla. The cause was advanced-stage lymphoma.
In a career that spanned more than five decades, Haury held leadership roles for international airport programs in Denver, Orlando and Tampa, Fla., and was involved in the development of more than 100 other airports throughout the world, including in Panama City, Hong Kong, and the Chinese cities of Guangzhou and Nanjing.
