Midwest City Scoop: Construction Starts in Kansas City
Randy Bredar Senior VP JE Dunn Construction
“Cerner Corp. has been a really great client for us, and we are moving forward on a couple of new buildings on the renovation of its corporate campus now,” Bredar says. “JE Dunn’s revenue looks like it will be up 20-25% locally in Kansas City. We believe 2019 will be busier than 2017 or 2018 for the market as a whole. We do not see a pullback. The last five years a lot of multifamily has gone up in the metropolitan area. Those communities are now reinvesting in schools district work, courthouses and other institutional and community buildings.”
